Steve E. Moody

S teve E. Moody is married with two children and two grandchildren. He attended High School in Blackshear, Georgia where he was President of both the Junior and Senior classes and Captain of the basketball, football and track teams. He moved on to Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Economics in 1967. His accomplishments included Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, President of the Student Government Association, Blue Key Honor Society and Captain of the basketball team setting a school rebounding record which is yet to be broken. As a member of the SAE Fraternity he received the Besser-Lindsay Award given nationally to scholar athletes. In 1977 he was inducted into the Mercer University Athletic Hall of Fame.

After college he entered Law School at Mercer University and received a Juris Doctorate degree with Honors in 1970. He served on the Mercer Law Review and the Student Government Association. He also served in the United States Army Reserves from 1969 through 1974.

As a professional he became a member of the Florida Bar in 1971, was admitted to practice before the United States District Court Southern District of Florida in 1971, to the Trial Bar of the United States District Court in 1983 and to the United States Court of Federal Claims in 1993. His professional associations include the Florida Bar, Broward County Bar where he served as President from 2004 through 2005, the Florida Justice Association and the Broward County Justice Association. He was also a title agent for both Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.

Steve’s community involvement has included West Broward Ski and Travel Club; Plantation Athletic League coach; Plantation Chamber of Commerce; Plantation Kiwanis; and the Barbershop Harmony Society.

Steve holds the highest “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell and is the 2007 recipient of the Lynn Futch Professionalism in Practice Award presented by the Broward County Bar.

Steve’s main areas of practice were real property law including title insurance for owners and lenders, commercial litigation including mortgage foreclosures, personal injury litigation, family law and general practice.

Steve is a Supreme Court of Florida Certified Circuit Mediator and has mediated a myriad of pending lawsuits saving the litigants time, money and the uncertainty and acrimony involved in contested litigation.

Steve, having retired from the practice of law, enjoys spending time in the Florida Keys with his family and friends, golfing, the family’s Golden Doodle and Irish Wolfhound and singing bass with Barbershop Choruses and Quartets.

Kenneth M. Jones

K enneth M . Jones was born in Oakland, California. He is married and has four children and two grandchildren. He attended high school in Jacksonville, Florida where he was the captain of the baseball and basketball teams. Drafted out of high school by the Washington Senators baseball team, Ken chose to attend Stetson University and graduated with honors in 1969 with a major in economics. Ken attended the University of Florida Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court team and received his Juris Doctorate in 1972.

After graduating from law school, Ken moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 1972. He was admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida in

1972, and to the Trial Bar of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida in 1985. Later, Ken was admitted to practice before the Federal Bar in the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida; and the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida. Ken is a member of the Florida Bar and the Broward County Bar Association. Ken was a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.

Ken’s community activities have included Tamarac and Coral Springs Little League Baseball, where Ken coached his three sons for many years, and served on the board. He is a member of the board of the McJunkin Family Charitable Foundation, a member of the board of the Community Foundation of Broward County, and has been a participant in the Broward County Guardian Ad Litem program.

Ken’s main practice areas were Wills and Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, and Real Estate Law.

Ken, also having retired, is an avid fisherman, dog lover (especially rescue dogs), and all around sports fan. He is a voracious reader and loves to travel with his wife Debbie, who worked as a legal assistant in the law firm. He is very proud of the success of his children and values most the time he spends with his family.

Michael J. Ingino
M ichael J. Ingino has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1995, the State Bar of Texas since 2013 and the Seminole Tribal Court since 2016. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Nova-Southeastern University in 1995, and started with the Office of the State Attorney as a prosecutor in Broward County, prosecuting defendants for a variety of crimes including misdemeanors and felonies. Mike came to the firm in 1998, where his practice shifted to civil litigation, concentrating in the area of creditor rights and collections.

He proudly served in the United States Navy, on both active duty and reserves, where he obtained the rank of Aviation Boatswain’s Mate Handler, Second Class, ABH2 (AW). He was ranked first in his Airman apprenticeship class. He also obtained his Air Warfare Specialist designation as a Third Class Petty Officer while on deployment to the Persian Gulf in 1988.

Mike’s main area of practice is collections and he is intimately familiar with the state and federal laws, rules and regulations relating to collection of debt. In 2011, 2013, 2014 and again in 2016, Mike and his staff were recognized by a major client as a top performing firm within its attorney network.

Mike is married to Cheryl DeJean-Ingino, who has been instrumental to the firm’s success having worked at the firm for more than twenty years in various roles from legal assistant to office manager. He enjoys his family, which includes two exceptional boys, Cary and Blake.
